The Pyth Network Price Feeds service ("Price Feeds") is available on Pyth Network ("Pyth") on an "AS IS," "WITH ALL FAULTS," and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without any warranties or representations of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or availability.

Further information on Pyth's governance can be found at https://github.com/pyth-network/governance/blob/main/docs/constitution/pyth-dao-constitution.md.

Pyth DAO LLC, Pyth Data Association, including their respective officers, directors, employees, consultants, equityholders, members, representatives, other agents, as well as contributors to Pyth expressly disclaim any guarantee that PriceFeeds will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from delays, outages, or inaccuracies in the provision of price data.

Users of Price Feeds (collectively, “Users”) acknowledge and accept all risks associated with its use, including but not limited to:

  • Unavailability or discontinuation of Price Feeds;

  • Delays in price data delivery caused by blockchain transaction latencies, network congestion, or the pull oracle mechanism;

  • Outages or disruptions due to blockchain forks, data provider failures, or decentralized network issues; and/or

  • Security vulnerabilities, including risks of data manipulation or attacks targeting Price Feeds’ aggregation or verification processes.

Neither Pyth DAO LLC, Pyth Data Association, including their respective officers, directors, employees, consultants, equityholders, members, representatives, other agents, as well as contributors to Pyth shall not be liable for any claims, liabilities, losses, costs, or damages, including direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages, arising out of or in connection with the use of or inability to use Price Feeds, whether based on contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory. This includes, but is not limited to, financial losses resulting from reliance on price data in DeFi applications, such as trading platforms, lending protocols, or derivatives.

Users are solely responsible for implementing additional measures to mitigate risks associated with Price Feeds, including but not limited to:

  • Operating and maintaining an off-chain price scheduler, as described in the Pyth documentation (https://docs.pyth.network/price-feeds/schedule-price-updates/using-scheduler), to ensure regular and automated submission of price feed updates to the blockchain at a defined frequency;

  • Implementing stale price checks and circuit breakers in smart contracts to handle outdated or unavailable data;

  • Monitoring data providers reliability and feed performance to anticipate potential disruptions;

  • Conducting thorough testing and validation of smart contracts to ensure robustness against price volatility or errors; and/or

  • Consulting Pyth documentation (https://docs.pyth.network/) for guidance on integrating and securing Price Feeds.

By using Price Feeds, Users acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to this disclaimer and assume full responsibility for any risks or losses incurred.

Pyth DAO LLC reserves the right to modify or discontinue Price Feeds at any time without prior notice.
