Nasdaq Basic Available via Pyth’s Data Marketplace
Pyth has been approved as an external distributor to offer Nasdaq Basic, Nasdaq's proprietary real-time quote and trade product for U.S. equities, via data feeds through the Pyth Data Marketplace.
Data Services

Challenge
Market data distribution has historically relied on a layered model of vendors, terminals, and proprietary infrastructure. This approach was not built for a world where financial products increasingly live inside software, where trading systems, fintech platforms, and blockchain-native applications need data that is programmable, scalable, and easier to integrate than legacy infrastructure allows.
Solution
Nasdaq Basic will be distributed through the Pyth Data Marketplace, giving publishers a channel built specifically for software and blockchain-native destinations. Publishers distribute their proprietary data through a single integration, with attribution and commercial control retained throughout. For Nasdaq Basic, it's another distribution channel to tap into modern financial applications.
Clients of the Pyth Data Marketplace may now license directly with Nasdaq to receive Nasdaq Basic via Pyth. Any client interested in using Pyth as its Nasdaq Basic provider must obtain prior, written approval from Nasdaq before consuming the Nasdaq Basic market data feed.
Impact
Expanded Distribution Channel. Nasdaq Basic gains another path into modern financial applications, reaching software and blockchain-native destinations.
Direct, Controlled Access. Data flows through a single integration, with attribution and commercial control retained. Clients license directly with Nasdaq, and access still requires Nasdaq's prior written approval.
Strategic Fit. Pyth is building the price of everything, and the Pyth Data Marketplace is the primary channel for acquiring and distributing unique datasets that sit outside its other offerings. Where institutions distribute their own data directly to the applications that need it.
