New Pyth Data Provider: Optiver

We are delighted to welcome Optiver, a global proprietary trading firm and market maker for various exchange-listed financial instruments, to the Pyth Network where it will contribute its US equities prices.

Who is Optiver?

• With 35+ years of global market-making experience, the firm was founded by Johann Kaemingk in 1986 as an options market maker on the European Options Exchange (known as Euronext).

• As a market maker, Optiver trades derivatives, cash equities, bonds, forex, and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

• With more than 1100 employees, Optiver is headquartered in Amsterdam with offices in Chicago, Austin, Shanghai, Sydney, London, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taipei.
