As part of a greater collaboration with Horizen, we’re delighted to reveal that the Pyth Network low-latency pull oracle is now available on EON, a fully EVM-compatible smart contracting platform built by Horizen. The Pyth Network is also set to launch its ZEN/USD price feed, which will become available on EON and more than 30 other blockchains.
Horizen Labs has deployed and will operate its own price scheduler to regularly update prices on-chain. This deployment enables Horizen EON dApps to freely and seamlessly use the Pyth Price Feeds.
"Partnering with Pyth Network aligns with our mission to provide a secure and scalable ecosystem for decentralized applications," said Rob Viglione, Co-Founder of Horizen and CEO of Horizen Labs. "By leveraging Pyth Network's specialized oracle solution, we can enhance EON's capabilities and offer developers the trusted market data they need to build innovative solutions for DeFi protocols."
“We’re excited to see the Pyth oracle and its 350 Price Feeds going live on Horizen EON — over the past year, zk solutions have been steadily growing in adoption and enabling DeFi to happen there is of first order,” said Marc Tillement, Director, Pyth Data Association. “As the leading oracle network on various Ethereum L2s and zk-chains, we look forward to seeing EON developers grasp the opportunity to be #PoweredByPyth and build the future of finance on-chain.”
Pyth Network on EON
The Pyth Network introduced an innovative low-latency pull oracle design, where users are empowered to “pull” price updates on-chain when needed, enabling everyone in that blockchain environment to access that data point. Developers on EON have permissionless access to any of Pyth’s 350+ price feeds for equities, ETFs, commodities, foreign exchange pairs, and cryptocurrencies.
However, to facilitate and further bootstrap its growing ecosystem, Horizen Labs has deployed and now operates its own price scheduler! This deployment enables any dApps building on Horizen’s EON to freely and seamlessly use the Pyth Price Feeds.

Horizen
Horizen is a layer 0 public blockchain that underpins the zero-knowledge network of blockchains powered by the largest node system and a massively scalable cross-chain protocol, Zendoo. Offering unparalleled tools for developers to custom-build private or public blockchains and dApps, Horizen features unmatched flexibility. EVM-compatible through its sidechain EON, developers building on Horizen enjoy complete freedom to customize their blockchains in terms of consensus, speed, privacy, and crypto-economies, without compromising decentralization.
Pyth Network
The Pyth Network is the largest first-party financial oracle network delivering real-time market data to over 30 blockchains securely and transparently.
The network comprises some of the world’s largest exchanges, market makers, and financial services providers publishing their proprietary price data on-chain for aggregation and distribution to smart contract applications.
In less than a year, the network secured more than $2.0B in total value. Pyth has facilitated over $70B in trading volume and received over 1M client downloads from passionate developers. Pyth supports 350+ low-latency price feeds across digital assets, equities, ETFs, forex pairs, and commodities. You can learn more about Pyth from the website or documentation.
Pyth Data Association
