New Pyth Data Provider: Ambient

The Pyth Network is pleased to welcome Ambient to its data provider community. Ambient, formerly known as CrocSwap, is a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol that allows for two-sided AMMs combining concentrated and ambient constant-product liquidity on any arbitrary pair of blockchain assets.

This partnership will bring the leading Blast and Scroll DEX for on-chain assets to publish real-time price data. Ambient’s contributions will bolster the data quality and security of the Pyth Price Feeds for the benefit of Web3 developers globally.

Who is Ambient?

• Ambient is a decentralized exchange (DEX) protocol that allows for two-sided AMMs combining concentrated and ambient constant-product liquidity on any arbitrary pair of blockchain assets.

• Ambient runs its entire DEX inside a single smart contract, where individual AMM pools are lightweight data structures instead of separate smart contracts. This feature, along with other design decisions, positions Ambient as the most efficient Ethereum-based DEX.

• Launched during the summer of 2023, Ambient is already available on Blast, Scroll, Ethereum, and Canto. The platform has gathered more than $50M TVL and enabled $650M in volumes.

Owners and creators of unique price data like Ambient make the Pyth Price Feeds possible. The Pyth Network’s data providers play an important role in enabling continuous access to reliable, real-time price data for smart contract developers on any blockchain.
